Originally written for the Sammy Nestico Dark Orchid recording and later reprised on A Portrait of Sammy, this iconic swing chart gives all the solo work to piano, first in the opening 48 measures, then again in the middle and ending segments. In between the band tackles a terrific double counterpoint chorus and carries a full ensemble shout chorus. Altos and tenors double on flutes.
